Eat Healthy, See Hope: SUSU Fitlicious Charity Initiative
SUSU Fitlicious, a healthy dining brand founded by teams from Taiwan and Hong Kong, has opened its first store in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In collaboration with the internationally renowned performance group Phare, The Cambodian Circus, the brand launched a charity showcase titled The Art of Transforming Lives, combining food, arts, and community engagement to respond to youth development and social impact.
SUSU Fitlicious is more than just a restaurant; it is a social platform with a strong empowerment mission. While providing healthy and affordable meals, the brand also enables young people to learn culinary skills, build work discipline, and develop a foundation for future careers. The collaboration with Phare further extends its shared commitment to supporting disadvantaged youth, using the integration of arts and dining to amplify social impact.
Held on March 21, The Art of Transforming Lives brought together 13 local NGOs and faith-based organizations, gathering approximately 500 participants including youth, community groups, business partners, and media representatives. Through artistic performances and community exchange, the event highlighted the importance of youth development and allowed participants to witness real change in action.
SUSU Fitlicious is not simply opening a restaurant—it is redefining the role of dining. By using its outlets as a foundation and integrating healthy living, education, empowerment, and community connection, the brand is gradually building a sustainable social enterprise model within the food and beverage industry.
